GetRider | Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using GetRider's platform, mobile applications, or website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you may not use our services.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use GetRider as a rider. Drivers must be at least 21 years old, hold a valid Ethiopian driver's license, pass Fayda identity verification, and meet vehicle requirements as specified in our driver onboarding process.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

4. Rider & Driver Conduct

All users must treat each other with respect. Prohibited conduct includes harassment, discrimination, fraud, unsafe driving, and violation of local traffic laws. GetRider reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these standards.

5. Payments & Subscriptions

Riders pay fares displayed at booking through Telebirr, CBE Birr, or card. Drivers pay a flat monthly subscription fee after a free trial period. All fees are non-refundable except as required by law or stated in our refund policy.

6. Limitation of Liability

GetRider is a technology platform connecting riders and independent drivers. We are not a transportation provider. To the fullest extent permitted by law, GetRider is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the platform.

7. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Addis Ababa.
